Full Circle

It's over a week since I returned to Aus.

Everything is unchanged, yet different.

The internet here at home is impossibly slow, TV is boring, 20 mins walk will get me nowhere and the shop service is as unflattering as I'd expected.

Uni has begun and am looking forward to settling into it (apart from the 9am starts needing a 6:30-6:45 Mon-Thurs wake-up) and I've a real bed now too. However, the food here is both good and old, new and unoriginal.

I think it'll take me some time before I'm used to this place again.

Well.

I fly out on Tuesday.

Five days to go.


It's quite surreal to be 'returning', as everything's changed. The feeling is as though I'm 'going back' but more of 'moving on to a new place'. It's not possible to 'go back' from where I've got myself to now.
