Mike is going home.

The 'crew' went out for final drinks last night. Duncan, Mike, Ben and (the other) Aaron have all been here together for 4 years after having begun Nova around the same time. They're all slowly leaving over the next few months with Mike being the first.


I hate goodbyes...

Cold Slows the Brain

It snowed today.

And I mean snowed as much as it could without actually settling. I'd decided it was clear enough to walk to work (I'd done a shift-swap ages ago for someone) and so got a few mins past my subway station when the clouds just opened up. If snow could 'pelt down' then it did today.
It only lasted about an hour before it died down and then cleared to sunny skies in the arvo. Reminded me of Melbourne's fickle weather.

So I got to work with melting snow covering me as I took the elevator. I decided to buy a thick jacket during my lunchbreak.

Recently, I've really had nothing to report. I'll think of something to add later. It's obviously been quite cold, though.
