Hanami

My local park was so incredibly busy on the weekend. So many people having Hanami under the cherry blossoms...

These photos were taken before the weekend crowds swarmed during the week while on the way to work.

My house is about a minute to the right from here (right as from the toppicture, above shot is in the other direction).

This last one was taken at Shukugawa where I went for Hanami last night with Yusuke, Kazu and a few others. It was quite cloudy so most of the photos turned out blurry, sadly.

My head hurts from the alcohol in a way that isn't normal. Kazu was trying to impress me with his bad Judo and instead resulted with my head impacting with the wine bottle he was carrying. Got me just above my eye socket.

Hope Easter went swell.
Anyways, I'll wander off.

The Sakura Are Blooming

The cherry blossoms have just bloomed and should hit their peak tomorrow or the next day before the quickly fade. However, it's been a little rainy the last few days, so it might prevent them from all blooming together.
Was an interesting weekend to see so many people in my local park (it's a tiny concrete park) who were having barbeques and family/friend parties under the blossoms (which is tradition).
I'll take some photos this week when it peaks.

We should be getting a few new teachers very soon as we had two leave last week and also have had only one new guy come but 4-5 leave since I arrived. (and then there're two more leaving in the next month)

Went to a 'welcome home' party for a guy on Saturday who'd been living in Aus on a holiday working visa. Was a night where I got to meet a lot of people I won't likely see often, as some live quite far from here nowadays.
I also met mate's girlfriend, who's from Melbourne. She's extremely fluent in her Japanese and was envious to hear her talking with everyone.
Ended up getting home at 12:30pm yesterday.

Nothing else to report really; just making an appearance.
