Birthday Cards Arrived! (and then I went to the Zoo)

Saturday had me find an envelope from home with three birthday cards in it from the family, my Aunt/Uncle and my Nannie. I'm guessing that was the post office 'package' to expect.
I headed down in the morning to the same internet cafe as last week. After being there for about 5 mins, I got a call from my boss asking (pleading) with me to come in for three lessons from 6:40pm as a teacher had gone home sick and they were able to cover all of her lessons except the last 3. So I said yes.

The rest of Saturday was uneventful (not that the the morning was so). I went to work, came home, ate, slept.

Yesterday, Sunday, I went for a walk in a direction I hadn't before and found Oji Stadium and Zoo. It was a long weekend and was something like a 'Culture Holiday', but the Zoo was really busy (I didn't go in, nor did I have the intention) and there were kids everywhere. I wandered around for a few hours on the way home and got to see a basically everything else there was to see in that direction.

I signed up with my local video shop in the arvo and had a look around at the new releases, which were nothing special. Just something to entertain me until I get the net back.I hired 'V for Vendetta', of which I've heard mixed opinions. I'd heard very little about this movie beforehand, only that it was based off of a 'graphic novel'. It wasn't actually bad."Remember, remember, the 5th of November" was the opening dialogue and the entire movie held this as it's focus. In addition to that, there was a running theme that there is no such thing as a coincidence. Why do I bother to blog this? Yesterday was the 5th of November.
